When John writes in his gospel of the account to Jesus calling the disciples, instead of emphasizing who was on “the list”, he lifts up “how” they got on the list.  Jesus said simply, “Follow me.”

Who was John the Baptist?  What issues did he face?  What was his solution?  And how does his message apply to our restoration process?

John the Baptist had a very unique role in John’s Gospel.  His connection to Old Testament prophets was an amazing connection to his life’s purpose – to get people ready to encounter Jesus.  I propose that recognizing a NEED for Jesus, and WANTING Jesus, and being READY for him, are all VERY different.

Listen to this message to hear how you can get READY to encounter Jesus in ways that will transform and restore your life!

New Life

What are you trying to prove?

When gold is put in the fire, it comes out proven pure.

When faith is tested by hardships, it is proven genuine.

When love is tested, it is proven faithful.

When sobriety is tested, it reveals a life that continues to find hope, healing, and growth.  What are you trying to prove?

Good Friday was the proving ground of God’s love for ALL of us.  Jesus entered Good Friday, and walked through Easter Sunday with his love PROVEN.  If you call on him, as you are walking through your own hardships today, he will faithfully be by your side in this world, filling you with hope and promise for eternity!
